Fisher-Price Wild Lights: Toucan Review

The younger kids in our extended family each received one of the 'wild lights' toys over the holidays, and this one was the biggest hit. It has two cute little songs that it alternately sings when you squeeze the tail (or in the case of my daughter, pry open the mouth), and a flashlight bulb that turns on. Yup, simple. But it is actually really cute, and I can imagine a kid who was afraid of the dark enjoying using it as a flashlight. I have been pleasantly surprised by this toy. I am not much of a fan of toys that take batteries, make noise, light up, etc. -- but this one is actually not annoying. It has continued to delight my 18-month-old for several months now. An inexpensive toy with staying power at this age is worth highlighting, and I would recommend it.
