My 9 month old enjoys pop up toys & loves this one with it's cute characters & bright colors. We've had it for about a month. It makes all kinds of cute sounds so it's easy for her to work it successfully. She doesn't have to be able to pop up the characters on her own to still get it to make noise. She can simply play with the knobs, flip flop the characters, or move the wheels. It plays musical sounds, has the sound of a plane flying by, and makes short sounds like giggles & "do it again".
