Being nostalgic, I wanted my son to have some "classic" toys that I could remember from childhood, you know, ones that dont flash and beep and make put my son in an over stimulated stupor. The View-master has proved to be his and my nephew's favorite by far. They are only two and a half, so they don't quite get it all yet, but they are more than excited to put in their favorite reels (my son is shrek and toystory, my nephew backyardigans) and flip thru the pictures over and over. As they get older, they will be able to read the captions that go along with the pictures and use some of the more educational reels. This product was a great value for both the view master and reels and I catch myself looking at them now and then too!
