Fisher Price Little Mommy Real Loving Baby Doll & Bonus Review
This is the sweetest doll on the market. She has a sweet little voice and giggles and will pick up her blanket and bear if handed to her and can hold them well due to magnets hidden in the fabric. She never cries if she doesn't get what she wants as the previous reviewer mentioned, and we can turn her off if we don't want to meet requests for bottles or bear. She's so sweet and realistic, I had to turn her off because MY Mothering instincts were kicking in and I couldn't ignore her and get anything done! This is actually a great interactive toy to teach a child about nurturing and responsibility, but I think it shouldn't be left in the on mode for a long time with a toddler, as you don't want to teach them to start ignoring baby's heart melting requests! Now that my daughter is almost 4, she can tell me when she wants the doll on or off, because there are times she just wants to play with it without giving it the things it wants. Overall a good toy with a bit of parental oversite and judicious use of the off switch, but I hope the manufacturer improves the arms. One of ours dislocated at the shoulder after a few months as the other reviewer's did, so now the doll can't lift the blanket all the way to play peekaboo or lift her bear with that arm.
