My son just received this for his 4th birthday. It's a great addition to his Geotrax set. He has 2 other remote trains but they only operate in forward motion. This one operates in both forward AND reverse! The engine and one of the cars has a compartment that can be opened and closed which is an added "fun" feature. The set also came with a little figure ("Wil") and a piece of cargo to haul around. For some reason Fisher Price decided to make this remote a bit noisier than his other remotes which I find to be a bit annoying but of course it doesn't bother my son in the slightest.
