Talking Thomas ** Thomas & Friends Review

i bought talking thomas, james, bill & ben for my 3 year-old son. he is a big fan of thomas and friends so he was pretty excited to get this. i got it along with the thomas take n play set...the one that looks like thomas that can carry about 10 trains inside. surprisingly, these toys keep him busy FOR HOURS. i don't know what his little imagination is stirring up in his head while he is playing because the track is so little and there's little to do, but he stays at it for hours on end. i am glad i bought this and will purchase other trains throughout the year.
I don't know how long the battery will last....the little headlight comes on when it rolls and it makes a sound when the wheels turn. those little button batteries can get kinda pricey after a while...but then again, my son makes the "choo choo" sound on his own so i might just leave it. the body of the train is pretty durable...diecast as described. collectors item maybe?
overall, i am glad i bought these trains and i would recommend buying them to anybody.
