Fisher-Price Elmo's Farm Review

My husband and I came across this toy at a retail store and thought our 2-year-old would love it for Christmas. I ordered it through Amazon and was thrilled that the toy came with a stuffed Farmer Elmo.
Once my son opened the toy and we set it up, we were less impressed. The Elmo barn was flimsy and cheap looking. It is more like a gate and looked like some major part was missing. Like this was just a piece of a bigger toy. The accessories were cute though, especially the animals. Farmer Ernie wasn't too bad either.
Although the toy worked like it was supposed to and didn't break immediately, I don't imagine that the main barn will last as long time.
I am disappointed in the quality of the toy. My son did seem to like it but really could have cared less about the talking Elmo Barn. He only played with the pig.
I would have been better off saving my money and buying him a package of farm animals. I do not recommend this toy.

Fisher-Price Elmo's Farm Overview

Ride Ernie's tractor through the barn doors for fun phrases from Elmo, Cookie Monster, and animal SFX. The fence pieces link to each other by use of a snapping section. Once linked, the fence pieces can pivot 270 degrees about the axis in which they are linked. One fence can link onto a post located on the corner of the farm. The chicken, pig, and cow can fit in the fenced area. Once the fence area is orientated to create a closed coral with the farm. Chicken comfortably nests in farmer Elmo's hat and should not be able to fall out easily. The door snaps onto the barn with a detent on the top inner side of the door opening. Ernie's tractor can be pushed through the door opening and the barn door will swing up in either direction to allow the truck to pass through. The door will always return back to its original position. Ride Ernie's tractor over the switch in front of the barn door for fun phrases from Elmo and animal SFX. It includes Ernie figure, Ernie's tractor, removable chicken, cow and pig, four fence pieces.
