Yeah - the doors come off. I think I see that as a benefit! The tent on the top and the lid flop off, as well. For my eight year old a few years ago, and my three year old now, and my one year old upcoming, this toy has SURVIVED! I know that when my somewhat rough little girls play with it, they blow the doors off, but when I find them, they snap right back on again. A perfect complement to Dora's Talking House, the Vamanos Van is Dora's Talking Family SUV. It comes with an articulated(poseable)Dora figure and has 4 different sounds/phrases. The Vamanos Song also plays. There's an on/off switch to activate the fun and 4 buttons on the drivers side of the vehicle for SFX.
