Hah! I didn't expect to find two other reviews with the exact same problem as myself. It worked for about a day, and kaput. Even with 3 fresh new alkaline batteries in it, it made the noise, acted like it was going to go, motor spins, but nothing. Upon further inspection, comparing to the Buzz Lightyear Rocket Ship model (which is still working), the wheels somehow detached themselves from the motor. Something internal, which I'm not about to try and repair.
