Loving Family Sweet Streets Pet Parlor Review

My almost-5 year old twin daughters each received a Sweet Streets house for Christmas. The one who got this Pet Parlor caught me looking on the Toys-R-Us site shopping for holiday toys and begged for this item above all the other Sweet Streets houses. She just loves play with this item because there are more pets/animals than dolls (only one doll, the pet parlor owner is included with this set). In my opinion, it is a perfect "between-age kid" toy, as my girls are beyond baby dolls and not yet into the Barbie scene (I'm trying to hold off on that as long as I can!). The items in this set are sturdy and easy to operate (the pet carrier opens in half and she can actually get two pets in there at a time). She can pretend play a lot with this set as it includes many items for the various pets such as a tiny hair dryer attached to the grooming table and a swinging door at the reception desk. The fact that the entire set folds up into itself and can be carried over to play with their cousin who also has a SS Townhouse is marvelous. For the price, this item has great play value and a collection can be added to with all the other nifty houses & shops without much expense.
